Television Still Up For Grabs at High School
Lots of shots, but no winners at Wakefield High basketball fundraiser.

Maybe you couldn't make the first three games, or maybe you're the kind of person who waits until the Powerball payout hits a ridiculous number before buying a ticket.
Whatever the answer, the free Samsung 60-inch television is still available. All you have to do is attend a Wakefield High School home basketball game and make a couple shots. Sound easy?
"We have had so many kids come close," said athletic director Brandan Kent. "The first challenge was a layup, free throw, 3-pointer, and half court shot in 30 seconds. After the first game, we increased the time limit to 45 seconds, and then we increased the time limit to 60 seconds [Thursday]. A lot of kids are getting to the half court shot, but can't hit it."

Your next chance is Monday at 6:30 in a game against Tewksbury. If no one wins the television then, the Warriors should get a home game in the MIAA tournament. The TV was donated by Boston Appliance in Woburn.
