Thanks to All Involved in the Special Election

Every vote makes a difference! Thank you to all who participated in the journey resulting in no new expenditures for the proposed $8 million expansion and renovation of the Public Safety Building. Most importantly, the 209 voters at the May 7, 2018 Town Meeting, the 204 petition signers certified on May 22, 2018, and the 2,160 Special Election voters on June 22, 2018.

I want to acknowledge the dedication of all town staff including Town Administrator, Town Council, Finance Committee, Permanent Building Committee, Town Clerk and staff, Town Counsel, Town Moderator, and all town staff and volunteers supporting the Town Meetings and the Special Election at the Galvin Middle School.

I appreciate the coverage by print and electronic media, as well as WCAT.

These Constitutional rights are the most revered rights in the world and were ratified by the Massachusetts Colony on February 6, 1788, by a vote of 187 to 168.
