Things to Know: Art in the Park with Kidcasso

Here are a few things worth knowing on Friday, June 29, 2012:

Weather: Today will be partly sunny with a high near 92 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. 

Weekend Events: The Tall Ships are here! If you're thinking of heading into Boston this weekend to view the Tall Ships, check out for where and when to catch all the Shipping Up to Boston action. 

Community: Shop for locally grown fruits and vegetables, pastries, bread, seafood, flowers, jams wine and other goods at the , today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 595 North Avenue. The market is open every Saturday until Oct. 20. Check out the on Wakefield Patch for the most recent information. 

Art: Got creative kids? March them down to the lower common of Lake Quannapowitt today at 4 p.m. for Kidcasso Art Studio's FREE Art in the Park program. Each hour from 4 - 7 p.m., 24 kids will get a chance to paint and draw for free. .
