Things to Know: July 4th Info, Summer Fitness
A few things to know today related to the upcoming holiday and ways to stay in shape in town this summer.

Here are a few things worth knowing on Monday, July 2, 2012:
Weather: Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 87 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly in the afternoon.
Fitness: Get in shape this summer by using the Wakefield Patch events calendar to peruse the variety of fitness classes offered this summer. There's everything in there from aerobics to zumba. We know you're going to spend this entire week grilling, at the beach, and grilling on the beach, so maybe check back next week when you're feeling guilty about how you spent your vacation.

Children's Activities: If you're looking for something to entertain the whole family today, check out Masters of Flight: Birds of Prey at the Stone Zoo. The show features more than a dozen different bird species from around the world, including the bald eagle, bateleur eagle, Egyptian vulture, military macaw, spectacled owl and white-necked raven. Daily show times are 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
