Time To Add Your Two Cents About Downtown Revitalization
First public meeting to discuss future of downtown area is Tuesday night at Galvin Middle School.

A reminder, courtesy of the Wakefield website, how you can get involved in the town's downtown revitalization project:
At November’s Town Meeting, residents voted to conduct a design study as part of the Town’s downtown revitalization project. The Town enlisted VHB, a civil-engineering consulting and design firm, to help us conceptualize improved multimodal transportation and accessibility, enhanced aesthetics, and a unique identity for our Town.
Your perspectives are critical to our success!

VHB will report on their preliminary observations of the areas and hear your thoughts on current challenges, ideas for improvements, and vision for the future. This data, along with comprehensive traffic and site studies, will allow them to create initial concepts for design. Don’t miss your opportunity to shape the future of Wakefield. We’re excited to take this journey with you!
Additional meetings will take place in the coming months as concepts are developed, with the second phase of the project being up for a vote at April’s Town Meeting.
