Tonight! Young Writers and Illustrators Meet & Greet

Join us at the Boys & Girls Club of Wakefield's Teen Room for a meet and greet that focuses on youth (18 & under) who love writing and art!

If you have children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews who have an interest in writing and/or illustration, bring them by the Boys & Girls Club of Wakefield TONIGHT! Tell them to bring their curiosity for creativity. Members and non-members alike can stop in for any length of time to create Illustration Trading Cards with Kidcasso Art Studio, type on any or all of the 6 typewriters available (3 manual and 3 electric), learn all about Zines and how you can make your own with Mass Love Distro, meet with the youth librarian from Lucius Beebe Memorial Library or just connect with other young people who share the same artistic interests while enjoying sweet treats and coffee, tea or hot cocoa!!

This is a FREE Kidcasso Art Studio, Lucius Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield and Mass Love Distro for their enthusiastic support and participation. Special thanks to Jack Canavan, Fred Kolack and Jean & John Leary for their beautiful typewriters as well as Tom Furrier from Cambridge Typewriter for helping to get them all shined and inked up--ready to type. Share this event on facebook here.

Thanks also to Kidcasso youth artist and Saugus High School Junior, Erin Rosa, for her accompanying illustration above.
