WAKEFIELD, MA — Town Day on the Common is coming up Sept. 21. The event will be from 1 to 4 p.m. and the community is invited to listen to live music, enjoy a variety of food and beverages, join live demos, and browse exhibitor tables.

Attendees can also stop by the flu shot clinic to get their flu vaccines.

The rain date for the event is Sept. 28.

Church Street from Common Street to Main Street will close at 10 a.m. and reopen at 5 p.m.

  • Flu vaccine clinic for individuals five and older, managed by Wakefield’s Health Department. Pre-register now.
  • Local food and beverage vendors, a beer garden featuring Idle Hands Craft Ales, and Bespoke Bartending with wine and seltzer
  • Live music performance by the Beantown Music School Show Team and DJ entertainment
  • Corn hole games
  • Live classes and demonstrations
