Join the Wakefield Human Rights Commission for moving performances of song, poetry and spoken word to commemorate Juneteenth. This special community event will be held on Thursday, June 20, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Americal Civic Center at 467 Main Street in Wakefield.

Guests at the event include singer Janey David, author and poet Terry Carter, poet Big Brotha Sadi, and the honor guard from the Lynn English ROTC.
