Wakefield’s Health and Human Services Department has added more opportunities for the community to receive their flu vaccinations. Vaccinations are available to individuals aged five and over and pre-registration is highly recommended.
Americal Civic Center, 467 Main Street

On October 26, community members are welcome to come to the clinic at the Americal Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Civic Center is located at 467 Main Street. Register for the Civic Center clinic.
Health Department, 5 Common Street

The Health Department office at 5 Common Street will host clinics throughout the fall from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Appointments are available on Tuesdays October 22, November 5, November 12, November 19, December 3, December 10, and December 17. Register for a Tuesday clinic.
About the Clinics
Fluzone high-dose will be available to individuals 65 years and older. Individuals under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please wear loosely fitted, vaccine-friendly clothing. If the weather is cold, consider wearing an easy-to-remove outer layer like a jacket.
