An additional flu clinic has been added to the Health Department calendar! The upcoming clinics are for adults aged 19 and over and a limited amount of high-dose vaccine will be available.

Stop by the Wakefield Farmer’s Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 16 for the Wakefield Health Department’s pop-up flu clinic. The event will be held on Hall Park, next to Vets Field on North Avenue.

Scheduling an appointment is highly encouraged to speed the registration process. Please have your insurance card with you when registering, as you will be asked to provide your plan information; United Insurance is not a participating plan.

If the October 16 event is not convenient, consider attending the flu clinic taking place at the Galvin Middle School (525 Main St) on Thursday, October 21. This will be a drive-thru event and will run between 4 and 6 p.m. 

Scheduling an appointment is highly encouraged to speed the registration process. Register and select the Wakefield location among the list of clinic choices. This event is being held in partnership with Cataldo Ambulance Service.
