Several wires were reportedly torn down by a large truck on Aldrich Road around 12:30 p.m., according to Wakefield police.
The truck left the area, but has since been located by the police department.
The Light Department has responded to Aldrich Road and is working to restore power to any homes affected by the wires that were torn down.
