Wakefield Changes Trash, Recycling Pickup Schedule

WAKEFIELD, MA — The town has changed the trash and recycling schedule due to winter weather.

The Town of Wakefield posted the following on Facebook:

Trash and recycling collection is on a holiday schedule this week, with Monday’s collection moved to Tuesday, Tuesday’s collection to Wednesday, and so on. If possible, please put your bins in your driveway opening so that the trucks can easily and safely access them. The snowbanks are high, and retrieving bins that are tucked behind mounds of snow is difficult for collection crews. If your property can accommodate, placing them in a clear area is appreciated. Thanks for your support as we continue to dig out from this storm.
