Wakefield Cultural Council Information Session September 6th, 7PM

Wakefield—Learn more about the Wakefield Cultural Council at our upcoming Information Session Thursday, September 6th at 7:00 PM in Wakefield Town Hall’s second floor conference room located at 1 Lafayette Street. Have you ever wondered, “What is the Cultural Council?” Join us to find out the answer to that and any other questions you may have. See what a Local Cultural Council (LCC) grant looks like and learn about the findings from the recent survey, made available to Wakefield residents online and in paper format, administered in an effort to gather input from the public. The survey results help inform the list of local priorities that serve as guidance when reviewing applications for grant funding.

Applications are available online starting September 1st with the deadline for all applications on October 15, 2018. If you would like to find out more about the application process or have questions about funding for your group or a potential project, consider attending this Information Session. This is a great opportunity to connect face to face with your Local Cultural Council members as well as other groups in and around Wakefield who hope to grow local arts and culture initiatives. If you have been a recipient of a Wakefield Cultural Council grant in the past, please join us to share your experience with others who may be new to the process.
