Wakefield Man Arrested and Charged With Fifth Offense of OUI
The man had an open container of tequila on the passenger seat, according to police.

A 53 year-old Wakefield man with an open bottle of tequila in his car was arrested for a fifth offense of operating under the influence of liquor on Saturday night.
On Saturday evening, Wakefield Officer Rob Haladay was called to Union Street, where a caller reported being followed by someone driving a white Mercury Mountaineer in an erratic and aggressive manner.
The driver was identified as John Rush, 53, of 52 Nahant St. in Wakefield. A police investigation determined that his ability to operate had been impaired due to liquor intoxication. An open bottle of tequila was also on the passenger seat of his car, according to police.

Rush was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor (fifth offense), and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
