Wakefield Man Charged With Felony Assault After Stabbing

A Wakefield man is facing felony assault charges after allegedly punching and stabbing a man in North Station late Wednesday night.
Transit Police rushed to the station just after midnight after receiving reports of an assault in progress. Officers met two men who say John Spector, 25, of Wakefield attacked them after they declined to give him money. The vistims told police Spector punched one, then stabbed the other in the arm when he tried to intervene.
Transit and Boston Police searched the area, finding Spector running through Paul Revere Park, “sweating profusely with blood on his face.”

Spector was expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division on felony assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery charges.
