Wakefield Police Logs: Missing Laptop, Vehicle Strikes a Pole

WAKEFIELD, MA—Here are some excerpts from the Wakefield Police Logs from April 18-20.

April 18:

12:03 p.m.: A caller reported that a male party had fallen off a ladder and struck his head. The party was transported to Melrose-Wakefield hospital.

2:05 p.m.: Police received a report from a business stating that an employee took a laptop without authorization. The matter is still under investigation.

April 19:

12:08 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a black pickup truck that struck a pole. The party was transported to Melrose-Wakefield hospital.

8:19 a.m.: A walk-in reported harassment. The suspect was spoken to via telephone and was advised that further contact could result in the person applying for a restraining order.

April 20:

3:40 p.m.: Reading police reported an operator of a black Honda Pilot leaving Longhorn Steakhouse intoxicated, and that may have entered Wakefield.

The length of North Ave. was checked and police were unable to locate the vehicle.

5:16 p.m.: A party reported two youths that threw a rock at his vehicle. One was on a skateboard, another was on a scooter. Police were unable to locate the kids.
