Wakefield Police Logs: OUI Offense, Possible Runaway

WAKEFIELD, MA—Here are some excerpts from the Wakefield Police Logs from May 2 to May 4.

May 2:

10:02 a.m.: Police responded to a woman who was having a seizure. She was transported to Melrose-Wakefield hospital.

4:47 p.m.: A caller reported a past assault. No assault took place, it was a verbal argument.

5:39 p.m.: Police responded to reports of a motor vehicle crash. Two vehicles were towed and one person was transported to Melrose Wakefield Hospital.

May 3:

6:19 a.m.: A caller reported a past breaking and entering into her vehicle. The vehicle was left unlocked overnight and was entered but no items were taken.

9:36 a.m.: A caller in a vehicle believed she was being followed by an unknown party. The party was escorted home and no crimes were committed.

3:08 p.m.: Reading Police were reporting a possible runaway walking down North Ave. on his way to melrose. Police were unable to locate the party.

3:44 p.m.: A caller reported a tractor trailer unit striking an island and knocking down signage creating a hazard. Two signs were knocked down.

7:50 p.m.: Police arrested Melody Gaeta, 43, of Wakefield for operating under the influence of alcohol for a second offense.

May 4:

8:44 a.m.: Police responded to reports of a male in cardiac arrest. The male was transported to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

5:33 p.m.: Two young females had been hanging out in the side stairwell near the back of Town Hall. The females were asked to move numerous times but kept coming back. Parties were gone on arrival.
