Wakefield Police Logs: Polygraph Test Scams, Partial Structural Collapse

WAKEFIELD, MA—Wakefield police were busy this past week. Here are some excerpts from the Wakefield police logs from March 14 through March 17.

March 14:

5:23 p.m.: Police arrested a Medford resident for driving with a suspended license.

March 15:

3:53 p.m.: A librarina reported a female possibly under the influence. The officer spoke to the woman and she checked out and was sent on her way.

9:10 p.m.: Police arrested a 21-year-old Wakefield man on charges of operating under the influence and the negligent operation of a motor vehicle after a Nissan Pathfinder crashed into the playground fence at Colonel Connelly Park.

March 16:

10:03 A calling party reported used condoms in the parking lot and requested to speak with an officer.

March 17:

6:26 a.m.: Police responded to a construction site at Line Road where there was a partial structural collapse. Four patients were transported to various hospitals.

8:10 p.m.: A caller reported that he was the victim of a polygraph test scam.
