Wakefield Police Warn of IRS Scam

Lately, the Wakefield Police Department has been receiving multiple calls from residents in reference to the IRS calling them and advising that they are filing a lawsuit against them.

Police warn that this is a scam and to not give out any information, especially your social security number.
