Wakefield Recycling And Sustainability Event Postponed
The event will be postponed due to inclement weather predicted this weekend.

Due to the inclement weather predicted this weekend, State Representative Lipper-Garabedian’s third annual Recycling and Sustainability Event, originally scheduled for April 6 at Wakefield Memorial High School, will be postponed. Representative Lipper-Garabedian intends to reschedule the event at a later date. Any community members who were saving items in anticipation of this weekend’s collection can attend her Melrose event on Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Melrose High School.

Note that the battery and plastic pet-food packaging collections will not be available at the Melrose event, though it will feature a bike swap.
