Wakefield Rotary Elects New Officers and Directors

The Wakefield Rotary Club recently announced the election of its new officers and directors

at its Annual Meeting. The club elects new leadership each year in accordance with its by-laws. The 2022-2023 Board of Directors include Paul Adams, John Dale, Margie Daniels, Wendy Maguire, Jill McWilliam, Bruce Donovan and Amy Luckiewicz. Suzanne Bowering will serve as Club Secretary, Barbara Worley as Club Treasurer and Frank Fiorentino as Sergeant-at-Arms. Glen Duffy was elected Vice President/President-Elect and Gene Mullen will serve as President for the 2022-2023 term. Mullen commented, “I've been so impressed with the meaningful work that our club members have been able to accomplish over the past several years. I’m thrilled to be elected as President in 2022!”

In addition, on September of 2022, the Wakefield Rotary Club will celebrate its 100th year of service to the Wakefield community and beyond. Mullen added, “I'm excited to lead our club during our centennial. We’ve been working on increasing our service this year, and by September 2022, we’ll have completed our commitments, be ready to celebrate and kick off a new century of
service above self.”
