The Wakefield Sons & Daughter Officers Announced

The Lodge had a very busy April with both the Charity Auction, and the Officers Installation!

We are pleased to announce that our officers are President - Paula Sasso, Vice President - Toni Encarnacao, Orator - Debbie Tremblay, Immediate Past President - Adriana Guida, Recording Secretary - Carolyn Faria, Financial Secretary - James Marino, Treasurer - Tracy Vincent, and Guard - Diana Ayers. In addition, our Trustees include Alice Dailey, Gene Ferullo, Rosemary Finn, Trina Marotta, Joanne Szczesuil and Mike Tallo. Pat Ectman and Laurie Rizzo are our Mistresses of Ceremonies. Thank you for your commitment to making our Lodge magnifico.

As mentioned in a previous article, four new members were formally inducted in April. We are happy to have Emilio Marotta, Tracy Bailer, Denise Mailloux and Michelle Saracussa join our Lodge. The more, the merrier!

We had a special guest speaker at our May meeting: Lisa Mullins, host of National Public Radio’s show “All Things Considered” on WBUR. Lisa shared stories about her career and the challenges of a radio host working from home during the pandemic. She has had an interesting and successful time on radio, and it has taken her all over the world. Lisa played several radio clips, and we discussed the remarkable poignancy that can be conveyed over the air. Lodge members enjoyed her presentation and had many questions afterwards.
