The Wakefield Sons and Daughters of Italy are Embracing Summer

In the summer, meetings and gathering for the Wakefield Sons and Daughters of Italy move outdoors. In June, the regular meeting was held outside in beautiful Rockport. Bocce is held on Tuesday night at the Stoneham Senior Center and is open to the public. The July meeting will also be outside in Stoneham, where we will get to meet this year’s scholarship recipients.

Well, one recent event did occur inside. Members had a fun night at Giggles Comedy Club. The Activities Committee plans monthly gatherings. Other upcoming activities include a bocce tournament, mini golf, an outdoor concert and apple picking.
