Wakefield Sons and Daughters of Italy Celebrate 50th Anniversary
It was a Gala Event!
Members of the Wakefield Sons and Daughters of Italy wish to thank everyone who came out to celebrate the lodge’s golden anniversary. St. Joseph’s Parish Hall was filled to capacity with lodge members, guests, and community members. Friends from nearby lodges were in attendance as well as state officers.
Laurie’s 909 provided a delicious meal, and members contributed to a Venetian table of yummy homemade Italian desserts. Longtime members provided surprise entertainment by lip-synching popular music from various times in the last 50 years. Guests danced to the music of DJ Brendan Donahue until it was time to close.
