Wakefield Sons and Daughters Made the Most of Summer

The Sons and Daughters of Italy were blessed with the best weather summer offered.

The Sons and Daughters of Italy were blessed with the best weather summer can offer for their outdoor gatherings. As in July, there was perfect temperatures for the August meeting – this time by beautiful Lake Quannapowitt. Lodge members were also able to enjoy Tuesday night bocce quite often and an outdoor concert in Stoneham. Then at the end of the month, they met at Richardson’s in Middleton for mini-golf and ice cream.

The Lodge’s next meeting will be on September 10, where they will be planning their booth for Wakefield Town Day on Saturday, September 21, 2024. In October, the Lodge will be doing something fun to celebrate Italian Heritage Month, as always.

Meetings are open to anyone from Wakefield and surrounding towns who are interested in possibly joining our Lodge. We have many more fun and interesting meetings and activities planned, including apple picking at Smolak Farms. Be sure to check out our Facebook page. Remember, if you want to speak with someone about the Lodge, contact President Paula at wakefieldosia@gmail.com.
