Wakefield Students: Reading Any Good Books Today?
Wakefield's Public Schools have issued a challenge to their students on this snow day.

WAKEFIELD, MA—Curling up with a good book is a great way to spend a snow day, and Wakefield’s Public Schools want to know the books that students are reading today!
Wakefield’s Public Schools have issued a Snow Day Challenge to their students on Monday. Students can provide a written or visual review of a book they are reading.
The official challenge is as follows:
We invite you to share a video, photo/picture or written review of a great book you are reading by messaging it to the WPS Facebook page. We will post them throughout the day as they roll in. If you need help, here are some questions to think about as you are creating your review:
1. Avoiding spoilers, provide a brief summary of your book. Who are the central characters? What do they want, and how are they trying to get it?
2. Where does it take place?
3. Does the story remind you of another you have read/encountered?
4. If you could have lunch with the author, what questions would you ask them?
5. How does this story help you understand yourself? Others? The world?
Students are invited to share their videos with the Wakefield Public Schools Facebook Page!
