Wakefield Town Day On The Common Planned For September

The event, which was rained out last year, will feature family-friendly entertainment, games, food and drink, and exhibitors.

We’re excited to announce that the Town of Wakefield and the Wakefield Area Chamber of Commerce will host “Town Day on the Common” on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m. After experiencing a rain-out last year, we’ve also scheduled a rain date: Saturday, September 28.

We’re busy preparing for the event and hope you’ll consider participating. We’ll have family-friendly entertainment, games, food and drink, and exhibitors.

Apply to be an Exhibitor or Food Vendor Applications for food vendors must be submitted by July 19. Non-profit and for-profit exhibitors must submit applications by August 16. Space is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis. Participation is at the discretion of the event organizers; preference will be given to Wakefield-based businesses and organizations that service the Wakefield community.
