WFP Receives Financial Award from TSB Charitable Foundation

The Wakefield Food Pantry will use the funds to support its outreach programs for Kids First, Seniors and Veterans

The Wakefield Food Pantry recently accepted a financial award from The Savings Bank Charitable Foundation during the 27th distribution of funds. The Wakefield Food Pantry will use the funds to support its outreach programs for Kids First, Seniors and Veterans to help alleviate food insecurity in Wakefield.

TSB Charitable Foundation was established in 1997 through an initial endowment of $550,000 from The Savings Bank. The Foundation presented a total of $65,040 to 20 nonprofit organizations during the 27th distribution of funds. Over the past 27 years, the Foundation has made donations in excess of $950,000 to organizations in local communities.
