Where does Wakefield Rank Among Area School Districts?

WAKEFIELD, MA—Niche has released its 2016 rankings for best public school districts across the Boston Metro area, and Wakefield is in the mix.

According to Niche’s most recent rankings, Wakefield Public Schools was ranked as the 87th best school district in the Boston Metro area. Wakefield was not ranked as a top-100 school district in the Commonwealth.

The school district received an A grade in administration. The district also received a grade of A- in health and safety. The district received a grade of C in food and resources/facilities.

Niche also reports that 74 percent of students in the district are considered proficient in math and/or reading. The rankings are based on statistics, student and parent reviews and expert insights.
