Armed Robbery Update: Police Suffer Minor Injuries In Pursuit
Two suspects are in custody after a police chase through Walpole.

WALPOLE, MA - Two armed robbery suspects are in custody after a dangerous police chase through Walpole that left several officers with minor injuries.
An armed robbery was reported in Norwood at about 4:30 a.m Thursday, police said.
Walpole police found the suspect vehicle in the Walmart parking lot and tried to perform a high risk traffic stop but the suspects fled with police hot on their trail, according to police.

The car chase continued through East Walpole along Route 1 and Route 27. The chase led to a crash and short foot pursuit with police eventually taking two suspects into custody.
Several police officers and one of the suspects suffered minor injuries in the ordeal, police said.

“This suspect had no concern for the lives and safety of anyone else. But as usual, your local police departments did everything we could to safely take a dangerous criminal off the streets. This is another example of the Walpole, Norwood and Massachusetts State Police working together to keep our communities safe. Good work by everyone involved, and a speedy recovery to those injured,” police wrote on social media.
