Ducks on Sale Now for The Wacky Quacky Duck Race at Walpole Day!

The Wacky Quacky Duck Race will take place at 3:30 p.m. at Walpole Day on May 18th. Ducks are on sale now at walpolerec.com and at Blackburn Hall.

One of the highlights of Walpole Day on May 18th is the Wacky Quacky Duck Race. Sponsored by the Walpole Recreation Department and the Walpole Rebels Swimming and Diving Boosters, the race always draws a big crowd. Ducks are available for sale at $5.00 per duck or 6 for $25.00. When ducks are purchased, a number is assigned to each duck. Hundreds of rubber ducks are dumped into Memorial Pond and make their way under the bridge towards Stone Field. The first duck over the finish line is the winner, with the grand prize being $1000.00! Ducks can be purchased at the Recreation office at Blackburn Hall, or at walpolerec.com. They will also be on sale at Walpole Day. The Swimming & Diving Boosters will have a table and be selling ducks until 3:00 p.m. Look for their mascot Dee Dee Duck, who will also be in the stream waiting to pluck the winning duck! The Race will start right at 3:30 at the bridge by Memorial Pond.
