A public rally to push back against unpopular policies and actions of the Trump Administration will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 18 at the Town Common in downtown Walpole. It's one of thousands of No Kings protests happening nationwide that day.
The first No Kings protest drew more than 500 people to the sidewalks of Walpole on June 14, and millions of people nationwide. The Oct. 18 follow-up, according to the national No Kings organization, is expected to be even bigger.
“Americans across the country will not cower in response to President Trump’s authoritarian takeover,” the organization says. “We reject strongman politics and corruption and will fight until we get the representation we deserve.”
