About the Course: Over a period of five weeks we
will examine 10 things many assume you “must believe” in order to be within the bounds of the Christian faith. Where did such claims, such as “being gay is a sin,” come from? Are they accurate? Are they supported by scripture and historical Christian practice or are they new cultural assumptions? Join us to grapple with these questions and learn alternative progressive Christian assertions.
Who is welcome: Everyone and anyone 16 and over. No
prior exposure to Christian theology is required. Instead those with the willingness to learn more about the Christian faith beyond what is presented in popular media are encouraged to attend.
Instructors Rev. Abigail A. Henrich & Rev. Jon
