Four Massachusetts residents, two women and two men between the ages of 18 and 22, were found dead in a cabin in Byron, Maine, on Friday night, according to the Oxford County Sheriff’s Department.
A sheriff’s department official said it is believed that the victims were overcome by carbon monoxide, but their deaths are still under investigation. No foul play is suspected.

The names of the victims are from Massachusetts, but officials in Maine will not release their names or where they lived, pending notification of their families.
