FREE EDUCATIONAL PUBLIC FORUM ABOUT PROPOSED GAS PIPELINE (THROUGH WALPOLE)

Learn about the many serious issues from experts (presentations and Q & A) at Sharon High School, Thursday April 7th 7PM

The proposed Spectra Energy Access Northeast gas pipeline project includes the Q1 loop, a high-pressure 30" fracked gas pipeline slated to cut a 75-100 foot-wide swath from Bellingham through to Canton.

This Forum will include an overview of Spectra Energy’s proposed project, followed by expert panel presentations and then a moderated question and answer period. There are many serious issues to learn about. You need to know the potential impact if Spectra succeeds in building a pipeline in your town.

There is growing opposition to this project at citizen, town, and state levels, especially as unprecedented negotiations are in process to have pipeline construction costs passed on as a surcharge on our electric bills.
