Job Description: 

  • Create solid models in SolidWorks.
  • Create detailed fabrication or machined drawings of the individual components from the models.
  • Create part records and bills of material in SAP.
  • Assist in reverse engineering of parts.

Laboratory Assistant at  Siemens Healthcare

This position is in the Siemens Healthcare, Walpole MA Technical Operations Manufacturing Support Department, supporting all Immunoassay Products for the ADVIA Centaur and CP platforms. Duties include preparation of human serum, plasma and urine based samples and running clinical diagnostic based immunoassays on automated equipment; putting data into spreadsheets, and doing basic data analysis in relation to troubleshooting of manufacturing lots in process (WIP); documentation work such as updating procedures and working with other quality documents; and special projects as assigned. Additional work will include raw material and manufacturing process change validations. Provides assistance in cleaning of laboratory equipment and general laboratory maintenance and cleaning processes as well as scanning and copying documents. 

Job Details:

  • Provides assistance in stock and maintenance process of laboratory supplies. Assists with the organization of all walk-in cold rooms and freezers to best use available space and allow easy access to materials by laboratory staff. 
  • Assists with general maintenance responsibilities (i.e. disposal of trash) related to the laboratory. 
  • Performs routine work within area of specialization. 
  • Selects appropriate processes from clearly documented rules, procedures, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor or manager.
  • Temporary position required due to increased workload troubleshooting immunoassay issues.

The Retail Coverage merchandiser primarily provides retail sales merchandising coverage and coverage of retail special projects for an assigned retail territory.  They are responsible for representing ACOSTA and our principals through store coverage and executing objectives as set forth by their Manager to achieve superior in-store results in an assigned territory.
