New Life Furniture "Letter to the Editor"...

Ron Yates and Doug Marshall, Co-founders of the NEW LIFE FURNITURE BANK thank those who support this organization.

Letter to the Editor...

"Dear Friends of New Life Furniture Bank of MA,

On behalf of New Life, we would like to thank our donors andvolunteers for their ongoing support. Over the last five years we have helped individuals and families coming out of homelessness turn their empty apartments into comfortable living spaces. Our inspiration became a reality thanks to the community’s support and dedication. We are proud to have been able to serve almost 1,700 households since our inception –an accomplishment well beyond our initial expectations.

In November we launched our ambitious Changing Lives campaign with a goal of raising $100,000 by December 31,st and we are reaching out to current and new donors who are willing to help us
reach new and greater heights in our efforts to set those coming out of homelessness up for success.

We have grown tremendously over the last few years, and this campaign is critical to our ability to meet increased demand. In 2014, our first year of operation, New Life served 100 households; in 2018, we served 535, and next year we hope to raise that number to 675 households. We have a lot of work to do - funds to raise and volunteers to recruit - if we’re going to meet this goal. We need your help in order to get there.

Those interested in making a financial contribution, volunteering, or donating home furnishings are encouraged to go to our website, www.newlifefb.org for more information.
