
In response to frequent requests in past years, Walpole Little League will be hosting its own Fall League this year at the Majors/International age group level.
Registration is now open and will run through August 1 (or until teams are full). Anyone interested in coaching in the Fall League should indicate interest at the time of signup or contact Fall League coordinator Joe Sullivan @ sullivanjp8@gmail.com.
- Fall 2012 league is for spring 2013 little league age 10-12 year olds (or spring 2012 9-11 year olds).
- This is an all in-town players league, with all games played at the Ron Black Little League Complex on West Street (no out of town travel)
- Fall Season runs August 25th to October 28th with games beginning Sat a.m. August 25th
- 8-10 scheduled games (rainouts will not be made up after the 3rd weekend)
- NO GAMES LABOR DAY WEEKEND. 2 games may be scheduled during the first weekends
- Games played every Saturday morning and/or Sunday afternoon and are limited to 2 hours (no inning may start after the 1 hour 45 minute mark)
- WLL Spring Season rules will be followed, with the following exceptions:
- Continuous “everyone hits” batting order is used
- No pitch counts/pitchers each no more than 2 innings per game
- Each team must pitch at least 2 innings by 10 year old players
- Players cannot play same position more than 2 innings consecutively
- Players will be divided amongst teams equally by the coaches to allow for competitive play
- If more than 9 players at any game, sitting out must be shared equally
- Cost per player is $75
