Reminder: “CR9 Christopher Ruggiero Memorial Foundation” Golf Outing to be held Friday, October 6

WESTWOOD, MA - The CR9 (Christopher Ruggiero) Foundation of Westwood along with the Friends of Westwood High School Hockey want to remind all of the Sixth Annual “CR9 Christopher Ruggiero Memorial Foundation” Golf Outing to be held in two weeks on Friday, October 6th at Brookmeadow Country Club, 100 Everendon Road in Canton.

Entry fee is $130 per person and includes green fees, cart and a catered dinner. Registration is at 8:00 a.m. with a Shotgun start beginning at 9:00 a.m. In addition to the golf outing, participants and local businesses can show their support by sponsoring holes or the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin portions of the event. $30 is the cost for participants not wishing to golf but still attend the dinner portion of the day’s events. “Last year we had great weather and the highest number of foursomes ever,” said Steve McGann, the events Director. “We’re incorporating some new events this year that folks will enjoy.”

It’s been six years since Christopher Ruggiero passed away leaving behind a family of four children. A father, friend and mentor to many he is sadly missed. He was a 1990 graduate of Westwood High School.
