Stolen Walpole Vehicles Found in Brockton, Leads Police on Car Chase
Police say the chase started in Brockton before the vehicle crashed into a home on Washington Street in Braintree.

A vehicle allegedly stolen in Walpole crashed into a Braintree home Thursday night after a chase that started in Brockton.
Ivandro F. Rodrigues, 18, of Brockton, and three juveniles were charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, disturbing the peace, using a motor vehicle without authority and damaging property.
On Oct. 12, police in Walpole reported two vehicles that were stolen. Three days later, both vehicles were found in Brockton according to Walpole Police Chief John Carmichael. After police recovered the first vehicle, the second took police on a chase through several communities.

The chase ended in Braintree when the vehicle jumped the curb and crashed into a fence, stop just short of a home according to Braintree Police Chief Russ Jenkins.
All four occupants fled the scene on foot but neighbors pointed out the direction the suspects went, leading to their arrested. The 17-year-old was taken into custody after a police canine team tracked him to his hiding place in a Plymouth Avenue backyard. The man refused police commands and was taken into custody with assistance from the canine. He was later treated and released for a dog bite at South Shore Hospital.

The men are scheduled to be arraigned in Quincy District Court Friday morning.
