Walpole Election Under Way Today

Today is election day in Walpole and polls are open until 8 a.m.

Voters in precincts 1, and 2 voter will be voting at the Old Post Road, voters in precincts three, four and five will be voting at the Senior High School today (see notice from the town clerk's office) and voters in precincts six, seven and eight are at the Fisher School.

There are contested races in the selectmen's race where current selectman Mike Barry is facing challenges from Bill Hamilton and Clff Snuffer. Two will be elected today.

Four people are running for the three school committee seats. Current members Mike Ryan, Mark Breen and Nancy Gallivan are facing a challenge from John Chris Sheehan.
