Walpole Man Charged with Child Porn Possession

Michael Kickham, 53, was arrested Tuesday and arraigned on Wednesday in Boston Municipal Court.

WALPOLE, MA - A Walpole man was charged with one count of possessing child pornography Wednesday.

Michael Kickham, 53, was arrested Tuesday and arraigned on Wednesday in Boston Municipal Court, according to the Attorney General’s office. He pleaded not guilty to the charge.

He was released on the condition that he be monitored via GPS, have no contact with victims, surrender his passport, be prohibited from leaving the state without prior approval, have no computer or Internet access except for employment, have no contact with children under the age of 18 and stay away from schools, parks and any other places where children congregate.Kickham, an employee in the administrative office of the Juvenile Court, did not have contact with children.

The investigation into Kickham began in October after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received information about an email address that was allegedly used to view child pornography. Investigators traced the email address to Kickham, the AG’s office said.

On Jan. 26, state police obtained and executed a search warrant for a search of computers and storage devices in Kichahm’s Walpole home. A search warrant for his office computer was obtained the next day.
