WALPOLE, MA — A middle school student in Walpole was struck by a vehicle Friday.
The boy has been transported to Children's Hospital in Boston, according to Walpole Police Chief John Carmichael.
The incident happened at about 1 p.m. Walpole Middle School had an early release Friday.

East Street between Main Street and the municipal lot was closed and reopened around 3:30 p.m., police said.
