The Walpole Rebels Gear Up for New Season

The Bay State Conference favorite will look to avoid another early playoff exit.

Barry Greener’s Rebels finished last year with a record of 7-4 after starting that season with a ranking of 14. The expectations were high and are yet again, partly because of the presence of Steve Cuqua and Lovie Salvant. With the two juniors, Walpole has one of the fastest backfields in the region.

Walpole High School kicks off the season with a home opener on Friday, Sept. 12 against Foxboro High School at 7 p.m.
