Walpole School Choice: Continued Public Hearing Scheduled

The school choice program allows parents to send their children to schools in communities other than the city or town in which they reside.

The School Committee’s continued public hearing on whether the district should become a school choice district for the 21015-2016 school year will continue at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 in the main meeting room, Walpole Town Hall.

The school choice program allows parents to send their children to schools in communities other than the city or town in which they reside. Tuition is paid by the sending district to the receiving district. Districts may elect not to enroll school choice students if no space is available, according to the Massachusetts Departrment of Education.
