Aging in Place with Caregiver Services

"Aging in Place" refers to living where you have lived for years, typically not in a health care environment, using products, services and conveniences which allow you to remain home as your circumstances change. In other words, you continue to live in the home of your choice safely and independently as you get older.

Home Support Care: If you simply need assistance around the home with things like light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping or other day to day living needs, our caregivers can help. Other home support services could include replacing light bulbs, caring for house plants, monitoring food expiration dates and so many more tasks.

Companion Care: Sometimes you just need someone to share quiet times... Our Companion Care services include keeping you or your loved one company and engaged in any number of activities such as visiting friends and neighbors, playing cards, transport to sporting/entertainment/doctor, accompany to religious services and so much more.

Personal Care: Our experienced, compassionate caregivers will treat you or your loved one with dignity and respect. All of our caregivers are trained to provide assistance with things like bathing, dressing and restroom use.

Transportation: Whether you'd like us to pick up your groceries, take you to run an errand or transport you to an appointment, hospital or just to visit friends and family, our caregivers are there to assist.

The team at Happy at Home are available to help the elderly and physically disabled "age in place" so that they do not have to abandon the comfort and familiarity of their home or the camaraderie of their neighbors, friends or family and move into a nursing home or some other type of assisted living institution.

Our trained and supervised caregivers go directly into our client's homes to assist with normal daily activities. Whether it is cooking a meal, help with bathing or dressing or even driving to a doctor's appointment or the store, we are here to help.
