...that keeps me sane is the teaching and administrative staff at the Fitzgerald. There are some truly gifted educators at the Fitz. I have found all of our teachers to be dedicated to the school and many of them live in the community. And, actually, if everyone left except for our custodians, our secretary, Miss Amanda Grimes, and our school nurse, Cathy Vieira, things would probably still be ok. Word.
So we'll find a new principal, one who really wants to be in Waltham and who really wants to be an elementary school principal, and we will break that person in. Gently. In the meantime, when September comes, our kids will show up everyday and will learn from professionals who are eager to teach them and are dedicated to their success.
