Mark Aquino, Jamaica Plain recently finished first at the Eastern Mass. Bridge Association (EMBA) Sectional tournament. He won the Open Pairs at the Memorial Sectional held in Watertown.
EMBA’s next tournament is August 4-7 at the Barnstable Intermediate School, 895 Falmouth Rd. Players will compete at all levels.
The tournament sessions are Thursday ,Friday and Saturday at10:00 and 2:30, and Sunday at 10:00.. Cost is $10. Games last about 3 1/2 hours, and players may compete in one or more events for trophies and other prizes. For more information, call (857) 342-EMBA, or go to www.acblemba.org.
