They city even has a SWITCHBOX Art Committee, which is the committee that looks for people who live or work in Waltham to participate in painting in a public art project that involves painting the city’s switchboxes.
This program is designed for City of Waltham owned utility switchboxes (Light and Signal controlBoxes, LSBs). Twelve boxes have been painted thus far, but the city is heading into the third round and needs more artists.
