
The case of a woman accused of fleeing Pennsylvania with her sick infant son has been dismissed.
According to the clerk’s office at Boston Municipal Court, the BMC default on Tiffany Cherry’s record was removed and the case was resolved on community service in 2010.
Cherry, 26, from Wilkes Barre, PA, was originally accused of fleeing PA leading police searching in Waltham, and ultimately Boston Children’s Hospital, on Friday night. She was arraigned in Boston on Monday.

She was arraigned as a fugitive from justice on warrants out of PA, reported CBS Local, adding that Cherry’s attorney argued that the charges were “blown out of proportion.”
Cherry’s son, Quavai, was in the custody of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, and bail was set at $250.

Information that was collected suggested that Cherry may have fled to the Waltham area late Friday night, but police ultimately found her at boston Children’s Hospital, where her son was receiving emergency medical treatment. She was arrested there.
